I don’t even maintain a stable 60fps with medium settings and DLSS performance on BL4

i get 60-80 fps with dlss q and high settings at 1440p on a 3080 in bl4

higher framerate = lower latency usually. so if the 1st one is rendering at native and the 2nd one is rendering below native upscaled to native then the higher framerate would give you lower latency (ignoring MFG, MFG clearly has no effect on the latency)

the "native framerate" would be higher with upscaling so its lower latency, technically. its not quite the latency youd get at 449 FPS native though

MFG does not reduce the latency it doesnt bring it lower or anything, thatd be the DLSS upscaling from a lower native resolution and therefore getting more FPS. any DLSS version would be able to do that (even FSR can do that)

the latency is still technically BAD for what youd normally expect 449FPS to get in that department but i dont think anyone would notice in a game like cyberpunk regardless

if you already have a decent framerate in a game before enabling MFG, your latency will be fine

if your frame-rate native is 20fps, sure you can enable MFG and go up to 60 or 120 fps or whatever, but youd still have choppy horrible latency for your inputs

I have since updated Ubisoft Connect and the game is now running (everything else seems to be running fine too), so I supposed it was just a coincidence.
