In this game at least, its just reshade then you plop the renodx file in the game directory. Done. Everythign at that point is done by hitting Home on the keyboard. Rdx reads your peak brightness from Windows but you can just use the slider to adjust.

when you boot, it should give a screen asking which drive you want to boot from, just pick one, and if you picked the wrong one restart the PC and pick the other one. After you boot in, search for "Create and format hard drive partitions" to format the drive

Their new regulation was 1.3 on VDDCR SOC along with some other things, and motherboard manufacturers had complied

Only ASRock has still been getting a lot of cpu death reports since then, so its probably worth it to be a little more cautious that nothing is still out of standard

Considering I have a lower end 7000 series instead of a 9000 or god forbid a 9000x3d, its much less likely to happen to me, but it isn't like that's impossible

So basically Im just asking about stuff when it is noticeably reading out of spec, not because I changed anything, but because I'm curious whether or not that reading is likely to be accurate

I definitely agree, I think any motherboard brand could have that kind of failure; its just that, considering the volume of reports with ASRock specifically, its a bit easier to think they could do wrong more often

Then again maybe people are seeing cpus die, but because nobody is talking about it when it happens to them because they don't have an asrock board, those boards just don't get that publicity

Either way the more important thing is, I see a reading that probably shouldn't be reading like that, I ask about it, best case I learn more about this stuff and don't see damage either
