I've never felt the need to track latency on my inputs for gaming, I am nowhere near sweaty enough to give a fuck

turning on FG will increase latency some, as base-FPS will go down slightly (due to FG math being done on the GPU)
How much varies based on a lot of settings.

Also, playing with NV-Reflex may or may not make a difference for your specific use cases
