It seems like the front power button is controlled by this 2 pin connector that seems like the universal type

It's unfortunately a little deceptive at times in terms of its occasional adhesion to standard formats and otherwise use of proprietary hardware

So.. That's all obstacles figured out

1. I/O shield is integrated and can't be removed without power tools
   -Bring a normal board into position, measure up to where a cut needs to be made, then send the case to a metalworker with measurements specified in text (and with pen drawings/lining for finer coordination)

2. Despite being relatively the same shape as an mATX board, the Dell's standoffs aren't completely the same, but most seem close enough to the point that atleast two should fit, anything not fitting will preemptively be covered with duct-tape just incase

3. Front panel headers are mostly proprietary, but the only important one is the power button, which looks to be a standard two pin connector, anything else can be manually and individually wired

(WiFi went out again thus the delay)

Any other issues that I haven't addressed?

The power supply btw is a none-issue, the cage is ATX compatible

Honestly, the biggest thing for me is just the fact that the newer generations have double or more ray tracing performance. I know it isn't that big a deal, ray tracing still isn't critical and some games even look better without it when it's optional, but it would be nice. I get that in the vast majority of games the difference between Ultra and High settings is minimal but a big performance impact, but I'm one of those people who still want to turn on Ultra if I can. (I'm not upgrading until next gen at the soonest, though)

It isn't. There's like, two games that require it to my knowledge as of yet. Indiana Jones and Doom: The Dark Ages. It's going to become more important in the future, but it isn't exactly a big deal yet. Lately I've been playing The Last of Us Part I on Ultra 4K with DLSS and getting 60-70 frames per second average. Sometimes it dips, just depends. Normally they recommend a 4080 to play on Ultra 4K settings if you want 60 FPS. Only way I'm able to play on Ultra (without a substandard frame rate or turning down the resolution) is because of DLSS. Love that shit.

Like, I am not happy that GPUs are more expensive than they used to be, don't get me wrong. And obviously fuck what's happening with RAM & SSDs and whatnot. But I do think some of the people who think that 90 class cards are going to be cheap are dumb. It's literally a Titan, you can game on it, but it's realistically not a gaming card regardless of Nvidia's marketing. It's going to be a more expensive even when they're not going for even more because of AI bullshit. And I'm saying that as someone who has a 3090TI and got it months before the 4090 came out. Granted, I did get mine for a great price in comparison to MSRP or the prices now, but still. If you want Titan class performance it's going to have a Titan class price regardless if they renamed it to "xx90".

The problem is that previously they’ve been for decades priced in a certain way. The scaling is what’s made it an issue. Before you had say 70% cores in 80 class and it was half the cost. Now you got 50% cores and it’s still half the cost. You’re buying less product at similar financial scaling.
