Could be GPU, could be drivers, could be the connection type OR cable, or it could be the monitor.

Simplest way to test is by swapping one variable at a time, like say... connecting another known-good working device to the exact same input method using the same cable, swapping the cable for another known-good working one, or trying a different connection method. Just remember to only change ONE thing at a time so you know WHAT change did / did not resolve the issue.

so the GTX1080 which died on my brother and was tripping the PSU is now finally dead 😄 . Today i tried to remove all heatsinks and power it on bare, without power connected to 12 pin power.
