You might want to start thinking about the concept of load, and actually measuring it, when looking at temperature.

Same problem with the concept of "idle" for beginners. All day they come in here and say their PC is "idle", yet when we look at CPU usage its bouncing around between 10-20% from all the background garbage they have running.

I’ve connected an external hard drive (I’ll try switching to an SSD later, but I’m starting with the hard drive since that’s what I had at home).
However, I’ve run into the problem that I can’t charge the Ally while the hard drive is plugged in. So I’m wondering what the best way to solve that issue would be.

What I’ve been thinking about is some kind of USB‑C splitter or hub that can handle both power input and data. Ideally something that can be attached using the straps that come with the case (there’s a long one and a short one). But I haven’t found anything that feels like a good balance between portable/small and functional.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions for alternative solutions or products that might fit my idea?
