Film is film, all that data is there. The "HDR" comes in when its converted to digital and then mastered

instead of compressing (for lack of a better word) the luminance and colorspace down to fit inside SDR ranges, its just expanded

yes i heard that but do you really recommend the 400MT/s boost and a possible cl rating increase? i mean i heard it gives under a percent boost anyway. i play high-fps games and my nonx3d cpu is quite a bottleneck and has bad 1%-low to average ratio

btw my voltage is good on the ram since the biosset the default to 1.1v but my ram is rated for 1.4v. tightening the ram all the way to what i have got me to 1.35v so i still have voltage room and apparently the voltage rating is a very conservative limit buuuuuut ts too useless fr

you also want to tune secondaries primarily trfc and trefi

trfc is literally a stress of how good your ram kit actually is

i just asked a few AIs to make me a profile and it asked me to change about 10 values (including primaries and secondaries, namely frequency + timings, voltage, and the rest of what you were mentioning) and i think i went from6400 36-48-48-104-116 to 30-36-36-72-100 and from 1.10v to 1.35v that’s it and it works rock solid under stress and i think it ain’t too smart to chase the last 0.5%

rdna 2 had genuinely terrible rt perf

if you're mostly playing older games where you don't use an upscaler then the ~15% faster card could be nice

alternatively to both you might be able to find a used 3080 in your budget

less vram but faster + dlss
