You might be able to re-use the same OEM key if you're installing on hardware that Windows believes is the same as when it was activated the first time. Otherwise, time to buy a Retail key and then never ever need to buy another key every again, since Retail keys can be moved between computers as much as you like.

I think I'm adjusting a bit. I honestly am not entirely sure what I am doing, I just want to separate stuff that I dont entirely trust from my homelab. I would probably just do a WAN and a LAN to a switch, but this is the hand-me-down 10G equipment I have, so I have to find a way to make it work if I want 10G. This is what I'm at now

You are using it as.a switch - forget plugging devices into it. It should have a WAN interface and a LAN interface. LAN interface tagged for VLANs 10 20 30 40 and then ports on a switch setup for that

earlier i was playing overwatch. in the middle of a fight i dropped 60 frames at the start of a match when we first start. never had that happen with the 9800x3d.

in helldivers, with the 9950, my frames drop to 80 when i call in airstrikes... the 9800 stays at a consistent 130+ frames

Well… it’s a strange one. Where I live, the UK, if it is RMA’d at manufacturer then they have to replace with equivalent kit (or better) or cost to buy new - so it would be today’s price they use. With a retailer, they’d have to offer the same or better also - however if they can prove they do not have any stock then they have to give the option ie. Is it okay to have gskill instead of Corsair? Before they can then refund the original price.

So it’s very hard in the UK to fiddle people out on an RMA

I use a 9950X3D in my main machine, a 9850X3D in a secondary, and a 9800X3D in a third - my 9950X3D is actually the fastest (OC'd, fast mem) and has no frame drop issues in any games I play.... but you really want a fresh Windows install

Having the 9800X3D installed and just dropping a 9950X3D in, a lot of your games have decided its preferences already

Like if you have an 8-core 9800X3D installed when you install Warzone, the config is setup for a number of worker threads based on the original CPU

But yeah in the games I play I have none of the issues that dude is having

they are unsigned for Windows 7 and won't work on 64 bits without pressing F8 on each boot to start without driver signature enforcement... even then after doing that, the performance in an old game was pretty awful... i went back to windows 10 IoT LTSC 2021 which THIS SAME DRIVER is still signed for... it works much better

Hello I was in the process of installing linux on my pc, which I just build like a month ago. Everything was going smoothly until one of the three bottom lian li fans turned off out of nowhere the other two were working fine until I shut down the pc and turned it back on now the other two are still spinning but no rgb and the middle one is still off. i have tried unplugging and plugging back in the power connection but still nothing. could it be something else or is it that the fan is completely dead and it needs replacement.
