okay here is results if anyone is wondering, my gpu seems quieter now and I am on rdr2 180hz 1440p it is running butter smooth and here is a screenshot of my temps while playing this (I am in the snow in game)

the gpu is sagging a little the fans I must of not screwed it in properly but it isn’t affecting my fans like grinding noises etc so I will leave it until tomorrow to fix it.

it’s about 60c+ idle still but I am fine if it runs okay

So I’m trying to extract every last drop of performance out of this thing, because of course I am. I pushed the iGPU all the way to 3450 MHz, but at that point it just starts crashing the absolute hell out of my system.

It seems to stabilize somewhere around 3200–3300 MHz, but anything above that turns my PC into a stress-test roulette wheel.

Created a bootable Hirens USB with Rufus, booted it, and told it to reset my password. I changed it, and I’m able to sign in.

Unfortunately, every one of my apps are requiring me to sign in, but that’s the least of my worries

disabling it disables complete shutdown of the cores if they are unused. In the end, it increases the power draw of CPU due unused cores still sipping some little power; but it avoids problems with waking up said cores from sleep. My 5950x had an issue where it crashed because it failed to wake up such sleeping cores
