Tldr;
Didn’t have access to an old email for an old rockstar account linked to my steam account (meaning I couldn’t play any rockstar games I owned on steam without the issue being fixed)

When I contacted support, they wouldn’t help me transfer the email address.

Then they wouldn’t unlink the rockstar account from my steam account.

I submitted like 8 different requests lol. No help at all.

I contacted steam and they couldn’t help.

So I filed a complaint with the Australian Competition and Consumers Commission, and within the day they did an email change and sent me a password reset link.

TBF, from a general usability thing, i haven't had issues with it locking things if its not also a process spawned by another (potentially automatic) thing

i noticed this issue primarily with my overnight build update script, where it would lock the compiler to the e-cores. the IDEs usually do not have this issue

the only reliable solution i found is locking to p-cores, which it still does
