If to things are measuring fps, they will show different numbers.

If app 1 measures at 1.0s, 2.0s, 3.0s etc. It will display XXX FPS.

If app 2 measures at 1.5s, 2.5s, 3.5s etc. The fps at that instant will always be different.

So funny recently relevant story... In one of the Canadian SubUwU Facebook Groups I'm in, someone was flabbergasted that their 2019(?) Crosstrek didn't come with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) yet their 2014 Chrysler(?) did. People did what people do in the comments section. OP responded that their "husband isn't car smart" and "shouldn't have to manually check their tyre pressure" which is why they wanted TPMS.

I simply replied with something like "yeah so um, provincial laws require you know how to perform a minimum level of basic checks before operating your vehicle. EVERY TIME YOU DRIVE. It's the law. Ask your insurance."

Like, you don't need to know how to be a car expert, but checking (not repairing) tyre pressure, oil levels, brake life, etc. should be part of vehicle ownership / drivers license requirements IMO. It's like learning how to operate a cash register or a computer or a floor buffer or anything required to perform your job.

TPMS is not required as a physical device btw
my car (golf mk7) can detect low tire presure by comparing data from abs sensors

so basically a software update can make TPMS work on literally all cars

Yee I know; there are different methods for monitoring pressure. In Canada TPMS isn't required at all.
