it's essentially tiering of how critical, and relevant the information is

L1 cache is the information that the CPU is working with at that exact nanosecond, L2 cache is the information it's gonna need in the next couple nanoseconds, and so on and so forth

more or less it's:

L3 cache
Ram
Pagefile
Storage

The higher the priority, the smaller the cache

IE L1 cache is smaller than L2 cache, L2 cache is smaller than L3 cache, etc

because there is less actually space that is close enough to the core to fit that much space into it

Like even with the 9800x3d, only has 640KB of L1 cache, 80KB per core

and 32KB is dedicated to the instruction set

i cannot upgrade the ram, due to the economy, which is a shame. but what it came with should be fine enough for a while

it originally had a Nvidia 4000 graphics card. low profile, 12gb vram, 4x mini displayport output. an older AI card which is also used for controlling a crazy number of screens at once

i told the guy, look man, y'all paid like 4-500$ to get this computer used, why don't you just take that ridiculous graphics card out, and sell it by itself for that price.
