Yeah, the engine has an issue making torque and the transmission wants to slip so then it backs down the throttle angle which then means you have to run higher and higher RPMs.

Does engine have some issue like the first 20% of throttle it makes completely fine power and then you lean into it more and it doesn't do anything... it just like loads down real aggressively

if you've ever lugged the fuck out of an engine with a manual transmission and gone wide open throttle in sixth gear at 30 mph you'll know the sound I'm talking about.

Over the summer the transmission couldn't shift out of 6th and 7th gear out of 70 mph on the highway.... It has 10 speeds....
