Should just need the F6D file and when you boot into bios you can just select m-flash or something similar. You should then see the file, select it and it should install. Also if you don't know what you're doing with BIOS updates, and you're not experiencing issues, I'd recommend not updating.

Hey, is it normal for a cpu fan/case fans to ramp up and become very noisy after sudden temperature increase, currently in path of exile 2 and every time the temperature passes 65degrees celsius and hits high 70s it gets very loud... I also brought down the cpu fan rpm from ~1250 to ~860 in the bios, should I increase it again?

Yeah as temperatures rise so do the fans typically depending on the bios fan curve. You can limit the fans in bios as temperatures allow. If having the fan at lower speeds doesn't overheat the system it's fine, but if it does overheat youd want to set the fans higher and test again. Till at a level of sound and performance good for you

The only question in mind concerning it though is... How hard is it actually to run world chunk gen via gpu compute? Like it's a question I almost rarely ever see come up, let alone being answered anywhere.

It's a lot of noise functions, afaik it's a pretty embarrassingly parallel problem for most (or all) of it

Which I've know about for a while, yeah. All perlin noise. The thing is, I had always wondered why there wasn't anything done with gpu compute for it because I figured you theoretically could parallelize the whole operation in some way that could run on a gpu. I just never seen it addressed as much in terms of doing that specifically anywhere.

Though now that C2ME tried it, I wonder if that might change something in terms of outlook towards doing this. Might not make sense for most server setups, but there might at least be more niche ones built using either cpus with igpus in them or ones using gpus with compute capability to some extent for general purpose compute that could put something like this into that environment.

Still niche, but I do wonder if it might affect the way people see the mc server space, particularly smps and anarchy servers, when it comes to solutions for world gen and such.
