And everybody says that this is the best micro LED screen, obviously my 9i had one of the best micro LED screens as well. When I was at Micro Center the only non OLED screen that impressed me was the Titan HX mini LED.

Other than that it would have to be OLED. Which lines up every screen that I was like oh that looks really nice in person was OLED. Now I just need to get one bright enough to overcome that glare I posted. And that's not even like direct sunlight the sun's coming in through the window and then reflecting off the walls.

9i - too heavy not enough battery life so you have to carry around the charger which means 10 lb in the backpack total.

**MBP ** - ehh just the blooming. Everything else is just Mac OS, with the stutters and everything like that when fast swapping apps. The price makes it hard to justify with the very limited useability....
Hell yesterday I was like oh let me just download this free app from the app store to go ahead and unzip this file... No no you have to pay for the premium version to unzip this ... Okay .. let me just go online and download one from Google... Oh they are app store versions that also require a monthly subscription or one time fee 🫤 what the actual 🤬 is this bullshit!

Flip Ultra - hard to make a final decision, with the buggy keyboard and the insanely loud coil whine (I believe unique to refurb), but screen is decent but no HDR calibrations so the colors are wrong, really proves OLED will be the display technology I'm looking for because of the zero bloom. Obviously the qlc SSD continues to cause issues, even when running Windows updates where it just gets overwhelmed and sits at 5 kilobits per second for 40 minutes at a time with 5 second response time..

I DO like using it in vertical tablet form, there have been some little bugs with the software like inability to wake it up in tent mode, but yeah .

Yes matte Mini led, like my 9i, you still get reflections but because they are so diffused they don't distract you. And with 1,000 nits under your hand (technically 600-ish SDR, because Lenovo bug) you just turn it up.

Disconnect the power ends of the cable to the GPU. So remove the end from the power supply remove the end from the GPU and if you're using an adapter unplug that as well and take close up pictures.

Btw @fringe vigil If your GPU is stabled at lower power limit it does NOT mean it's a power issue. My one 5090 was more stable at lower power limit, but I moved it between 4 different PCs all with 1500W PSUs and it crashed at stock power limit. Lowering power limit lowers clocks, if the GPU is degraded it'll work power limited and it's not a PSU issue at all

I'm with others here; it sounds like it's the GPU or PSU - easiest way to test this would be swapping your GPU into another known-good working computer, or putting a different Power Supply (of equivalent wattage) into your PC and seeing if the problem goes away.

When inserted completely out of 90° angle they have no issues and because that's how the connector is designed to be used the lawsuit can't do anything. If you look at his you can actually see where the side loading caused the melting

But again the good news is because you have a modular power supply you can just have Corsair send you a new cable you may have to pay for it, and thankfully because they use massive solder pads and not individual pads you should be able to get it fixed fairly easily by somebody that does small electronic repair.

Oh I'm aware... unfortunately, having the connector plugged in and NOT bent even just 1 degree is not feasible in real-world situations. Unless you have one of Corsair's 800D or 9000D mega size cases, the 12VHPWR connector will be bent somewhat after being plugged in. The laws of gravity and physics dictate this. All design flaws are avoidable... if a company is willing to spend the resources to test their designs in as many scenarios as possible.

Not really, you melt the connector, the positive, you begin to have a short between positive and negative however it's not strong enough to cause overcurrent protection it's isolated to just that one and all the sudden you're putting 100 amps through what 14 gauge cable, now you have flames,

granted the likelihood of a power supply staying on long enough in that situation to cause a house fire is fairly low.. well you can definitely have a little fire in your computer.

That is such a good price for the square footage! Pure were like $3 per square foot. If you want one that has like a connection to the public transport light rail it's $4 a square foot... Sigh. I miss $12 a square foot was the norm.
