I experienced it on the M1 and the M4 10 core and I asked in the chat, sounded like it was a known thing for the M4 the M5 is only like 10% faster I was expecting a lot more than that especially in just a simple browser.

Well I also got double the GPU core for cyberpunk, two additional CPU cores ( which if I remember from the chart I also got a lot more performance cores. )

The M5 is just two performance cores iirc.

And I got eight additional gigs of RAM which as you know Apple chargers $400 for on its own.

It made sense to me but I was also like hey this is my first Mac experience the same way that I wouldn't tell somebody that's new to PC gaming coming from a 30 FPS console to go buy a 5090.

But then my experience in the store on top of experiencing the exact same behavior with an M1 Air and then I was asking if M5 was considerably better than M4 and people said it was just a little bit faster than that

and I was like okay well then that's 🤬 I'm not going to deal with that nonsense..

it took every fiber in my being not to smash the air that I was using the other day.

Well I don't know. The drive in the HP apparently is DRAM less so it is overwhelmed. The Lenovo 9i is where we were seeing it limited to 1GB/s.
