my coworkers and me are stumped... we got a customer machine that beeps 5 times with it's GPU (we're not getting past the POST, nor any output) and works without a problem with another one. The GPU itself works flawlessly inside another machine though.

the mainboard only has one PCIe slot and an NVMe installed, it's 400W PSU replaced with a 750W beQuiet one so it can't really be a power issue... or lack of lanes (although that should only result in a lowered performance, afaik)

no funny dip switches on the mainboard or the GPU to flip, CMOS reset tried, to no avail. This particular combination of mainboard an GPU just refuses to POST

No I'm not selling or going to try to but I still want more post processing then just painting over the brown mask. The layer lines are .16 already thick and the curve in on the z axis so you can really see the stepping.

If I'm already painting it would look even worse if I don't do some other post processing and what am I wearing a brown (light brown when the mask be dark) 3D printed mask with visible stepping on the curve due to layer lines uh no that won't look great at all.

Or if you don't feel like unplugging them, fully shut down the MacBook before putting it down. Otherwise you're asking for the TPS to die and send all 13.05V of the main power rail into your port controller (which will kill it and then the MacBook wont boot anymore)
