Depending on the expected outside temperature and depending on how the auxiliary heater is scheduled, it can be a good experience. A lot of older units I've heard were pretty bad at this though and ended up turning on their electric resistive heating too often, costing a lot of money.

Then there's of course insulation, which is even more insanely important with heat pumps because they aren't that good at heating when it's really really cold, so what little it does heat had better not escape.

Maybe. Or, if a manufacturer is mandates to include heat pumps now they have to produce more valves and it costs more than you'd think as they build new lines to support it. Its also another part to fail. Additionally you need to make sure you have a thermostat that supports it. Duct work. Climate. Oh... and not every locale in the US is anticipating "Summer Heat" levels of electricity use thru winter. Their infrastructure isn't setup for it.

Clear up some terms. Wifi refers specifically to the wireless connection between your PC's Wifi NIC and your access point/router. Not your internet connection as a whole. And "your wifi" in this case is disconnecting for reasons that have yet to be seen until you do some troubleshooting
