1. connect electrical service and bury the cables 1ft into the ground without conduit
2. when a problem arose, they ran a new cable, cutting the old one and leaving it in the panel, also still not running it in conduit
3. its florida so the ground is wet so now half of my house's circuits are at 40V because the raw cable in the ground surprise surprise did not hold up with time
