No, you download it to a PC, insert a USB thumbdrive, and run it. It will create a bootable Windows installer. Then put that in the PC and boot to it. If you have files on the HDD copy of windows,back them up somewhere since you'll be wiping the drive.

It seems what you actually wanted to do is move your existing install of WIndows to the SSD. Cloning. Typically not a great solution and I can't help you with that.

typically you put windows on a drive by installing it via the method above.

1. Make bootable USB installer.
2. Insert into PC in question and boot to it
3. (in your case wipe old OS from HDD) Select the SSD and click install
4. Done

Plug it into the PC in question you're trying to install windows to and BOOT to it.

Your CPU socket has no bearing over how the fan clips attach the fans to the heatsink. The only thing that changes with different CPU sockets is how the Intel brackets and screws attach the heatsink to the motherboard.

If the case only has front intakes and rear exhaust, then I usually install tower heatsinks so they blow out the back of the case. If the case also has bottom intakes and top exhaust, then the tower heatsink and fans work efficiently either way.
