When I upgraded my CPU to a 9800x3d, the setup for my computer was whack. I couldn't sign into my Microsoft account during initial setup due to all wireless/ethernet drivers not being available, and it asked me to change my password and gave me the 3 day deadline. i can't believe it asked me, since i'm signed into the account with my microsoft account (with a pin)

I had to reset my password and then I ran a Powershell command:

Get-LocalUser | Set-LocalUser -PasswordNeverExpires $true

I don't know if it worked or not. i restarted my pc and now i gotta sign back into everything lol. Did I do everything right? When I was able to sign into my Microsoft account during initial startup it never asked me to reset my password. However, in order to have a PIN on my computer I need to have a password. No biggie that I got signed out of everything, though

Windows has generic drivers built in out of the box but it's likely the stock Windows image just doesn't have a basic driver for your WiFi adapter built in it's not that uncommon, you can solve that by putting a driver from your manufacturer's website onto your installation media or onto another usb stick or whatever and booting into audit mode (Ctrl + Shift + F3) to install it, then return to OOBE
