CPU load doesn't change with resollution. Also you can very easily just check if your GPU isn't being fully utilized. Or use PresentMon to get a more accurate view of whats going on

The reason I switched hardware acceleration to OFF was because at some point I was streaming my game to discord to my buddies, and as soon as they would open my stream my game would dip a LOT of frames

Like unbearable choppy very low frames, never had that happen to me before, switching Hardware acceleration had fixed it
