tbh, i'm kinda happy I salvaged them. Do they sound as good as they should now that its not a factory paired amp? No idea.. but that wasn't the point lol

I'm just thankful that there was a clear connection to the internal crossover and it wasn't tied into the amp

so all I had to do in the end was find the line from the amp to the crossover, then the line from the speaker terminals to the amp, rip out the amp and bridge those two wires together
