technically you are right in the fact that electromigration can be affected by the temperature. But the difference between rates at 70, 90 and 110C are small, and does not affect the devices within their reasonable lifetime.

In other words, yes, higher temperature could cause your GPU to die sooner. But would you cry over the difference between death of the 9070 XT you buy now if it happens 2038 ("accelerated death") or 2040 ? Literally no one will care about that GPU in 15 years.

People still sell HD4850 and HD4870 from 2008 which literally ran at 75-80C idle and 85C-90C load. And if they had "hotspot temperature", the would be at same 110C+

Have you tried using an Air Drill? Sometimes fan screws need more Ugga Duggas™ to thread properly.

either you don't have a properly sized screwdriver, you're not turning it hard enough, or the plastic hole is just too small. The third option is fixable with 30 seconds and a drill bit.
