Hey recently I've been looking for high capacity hard drives for my home server, and i came across some brand new Toshiba MG09 18TB hard drives, for a really cheap price. But i want to know if i should look for other models, or different brands. To me, drive endurance matters the most. They support it, but don't require it. Many GPUs used to operate just fine using a PCIe 3.0 x8 slot, even though they call for PCIe 4.0 x16. Now, obviously any higher tier GPU that can actually use the full bandwidth of a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot would benefit from being in said slot, but most cards won't just not work if placed in a slightly slower slot. DDU is a great utility... to be used only when you actually need to. For example, I've had DDU nuke Network drivers. 🤷
