in all honesty (truthfully, truly) the NH-D15/G2 is worlds quieter than any of my TR coolers. The TR coolers are not offensive, especially for the money, but they do have a "wind" noise compared to the Noctua stuff.

see I have a hard time believing that, honestly. seeing as how fan RPM is entirely use controllable means its difficult to directly compare coolers without some sort of standardized testing. If the fans happened to be the exact same RPM range run on the same curve under identical loads and ambient temps, then thats something.. though not many home users bother with this.

Like.. my cooler doesn't do that well in "reviews" but in the real world I can't hear it.. ever. Even when it was run on a 200W CPU. So like.. if I can't hear it and its far from "the best"... how much better can something else be?

This is why I wish more people would take "best x" reviews with a grain of salt and take into account when testing a handful of the best of the best, the #2 or even #4 spot on the list of the best available isn't exactly going to be "bad"

nah safe mode truly isnt needed, DDU itself tells you that you should probably check that safe mode even works on your computer before using it

sometime during late win 10-win 11 the basic display renderer learned how to do 1440p and it was surprising to me
