hey is anyone here a carplay nerd? I'm trying to get carplay in my 2016 toy rav4 xle and am wondering what the cheapest solution is. I see all these sketchy android head units on ebay for like 80 bucks, I could run a screen that sits on the dash for slightly less, I could get an adapter for my kindle fire with a sideloaded apk for 70, or what I would idealy like to do is get a carplay box so I can use the original head unit for the least amount of variability or extra stuff. Brushed the board for good with isoprophyl alco, a soft brush and toothbrush to brush away some dirt, there's a slight bent on the CPU socket and bent it back in place, the CPU seems to be fine and also the RAM aswell, the HDD is also okay.
