Actually did a continuous ping test to see when the thing dropped to see if I could eventually check some logs, and it seems to be the connection with the server because it happened on 2 systems, however they are wired to the same switch (but they retain connection)

It drops long enough for SSH to time out, usually works after a while though, sometimes needs me restarting the system though :/
