Quick recap;
Updating GPU driver, PC crashed. Long troubleshooting, couldn’t get it to boot, took it to a professional who diagnosed the M.2 SSD as being dead.
SATA cable also died for a HDD.
And ontop of that my other M.2 SSD was wiped entirely empty!
Reinstalled windows on a different drive, worked again.

Played 1 hour of BF6 when I lost display.
GPU wouldn’t give display anymore, integrated graphics did work.

Took it back to the professional who put in a different GPU as tester (small one without cables) which worked, then he tried my RTX3080 in his system which worked.
But another card in my system didn’t work.

I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan on using it to cook afterwards. Hot plate is ideal, you just need something that provides consistent even heat though. If you use a flame/wayyy too much heat the underfill will be harder to remove afterwards (it gets baked on)

Using it with an oven indoors is also not the best idea. If you use too much heat, the substrate will give off some pretty nasty stuff. Not really the best to risk it possibly contaminating food in the future. If it’s outside on a fire, it’s probably fine? Dunno though

You can get a hotplate for $10 or so, would suggest that

The janky ones from aliexpress work fine for it, it’s better than risking any contamination. Plus if you use too much heat, when you go to pick the chip up the solder can roll off the sides and splatter
