Sold my pc as I'm building a new one, got a 3060 ti which I salvaged. Had a 12700k which I bought for gaming but I don't do that much intensive gaming nowdays, occasionally I play games such as RDR2, Cyberpunk, BG3, DS trilogy, Elden ring, Rust. Mostly terraria etc

I know the best of the best is the 9800x3d but seeing as we're expecting one more generation to release either next year or the year after I thought it may be wise to get the 9600x which is still a really good cpu and then perhaps get the next gen x3d.

I don't see double the performance for around double the price.

i have no idea where it is in the prime bios but im 93% sure it was just right below my memory speed on my asus boards

but yeah just search mclk in the search box itll pop up with 2 options
