So when you want to "run VMs" on OpenShift, you basically say "Hey build me some worker VMs for containers" and then you say "jk I don't want to put containers on it"
so its not really the same thing as like Nutanix AHV, Hyper-V, vSphere, KVM... its KVM with a ton of shit slapped alongside it to run kubernetes and oh btw it can run a VM because actually kubernetes runs VMs so like we just half-implement a kubernetes node and boom you have a VM

I did it briefly with my 5950X. It actually had a pretty kick ass IMC as I was able to get it to post 4000 CL16 in 4×16GB (though I had to get it down to 3800 with the same CL to get it stable) and this was with the Crucial Ballistix Max which were guaranteed Micron B die single rank 16GB sticks
