The part people don't understand is.... if you play by the rules, which you should... in order to sell a PC for $200, to have any worthwhile, you can't have bought the parts. You have to find/scrap the parts. So $0 in expenses. So you spend 6 hours testing/assembling/installing an OS, listing, boxing, dropping off/picking up.... you get a $200 check from someone who has ZERO post-sales issues, fine. Then you have $200 of net income with $0 expenses, you owe tax on it. In the US, you're probably talking 22-24%. Now you have made $152. If you managed to get all of these parts, over and over again, for $0, you got paid $25/hr for one effort.

My motherboard is from 2017, the water-cooling system is mostly from 2014 other than GPU blocks, the sound system has a subwoofer almost 30 years old and my DAC is from 2009. I got the 43 inch screen for $300 used. I bought these focals off a gangbanger and replaced the woofer for dirt cheap. In fact almost every singlenthing in this setup was either used or actual garbage scraps other than a few items like the case, 13 molex non RGB fans, a few fittings etc 😳
