I have Intel versions of this board and none of the nvmes use the PCIe x16 bandwidth but I'm too lazy to check the specs page for x870e

from what i know building my pc years ago is that if all nvme slots are filled the slot would lose some of its lanes, or speeds on the nvmes would be lower

my basic understanding is that using m.2_2 places PCIE x16_1 in x8 mode, pcie x16_2 in x4 mode, and m.2_2 in x4 mode

intel boards are usually better with lane allocation in my experience

Do you want 6 cores or 8, marginally slower cores. The 6 will likely play some games ever so slightly faster while the 8 will complete an all-core render ever so slightly faster. Its a tradeoff in both cases and its really just on you. I wouldn't consider 6-cores in 2025.

TRUST me when I say do a ninja 650 or R7, I absolutely hate the idea of someone with no experience getting on a 600, but the 650/R7 is essentially a bigger 300/400, still 2 cyl, they top out at like 130-140mph. And at your size, youll definitely want the extra torque

Its just too big for me plus i dont want high insurance. I had a long chat with a sells guy and the honda rebel 500 has plenty of power for me while being much cheaper

The 300s/500s you WILL get bored of within the 1st season of riding, the 650s/R7s are not enough to get you in 4cyl 600 trouble at all, while still enough to enjoy for 2-3 years while you REALLY get comfortable

I thought the same thing at first but I was able to experience the 650 before ever owning one or taking the course, and after 1-2 5 minute rides I realized its perfect
