This 3050 has one problem hence the cheaper price being 3 of its ports are not working 2 display ports and one HDMI port. These are definitely a simple fix if you know how to solder however I don’t have the time to do it myself.

Yes AMD releases their drivers to the public but also at the very tippy top of their current gen capabilities they are able to match a 5070, while Nvidia does have typically worse drivers has far more raw power and feature set. So while I may have put it out there poorly it's more of a "Is the inconvenience worth the trade off in performance?"

I have an MSI motherboard and Secure Boot is permanently enabled and Fast Boot is enabled automatically in the BIOS level which I always have issues running Linux on my custom build because of my MSI motherboard, also Gigabyte parts don’t last that long my GPU got fried easily even after playing TF2 on Linux and I was booting into Windows to play Overwatch and Forza Horizon 6. Like fuck man

I’m going with ASRock I’m never going to invest in MSI nor Gigabyte again

dlss 4.5 had too big of a perf impact on a 3080 ti when I tried it to recommend it over dlss 4 on older cards tbh

like it lets lower resolutions look better but it ended up netting me the same end result but I think I may have been cpu limited looking back at it

oh yeah like 65fps even running at 480p base when I would get 75fps at 1440 native

changing the internal resolution hardly touched the fps, only how everything looked, completely bottlenecked by the model

dlss4 i’d get like 80fps with dlss quality on there

and native lower resolutions I would get like 100+

that was red dead 2 in most cases it acted as normal but I was getting a 10-20% reduction in overall fps using 4.5 vs 4 on the 3080 ti

I’d say they are both good enough that it’s not worth the 10-20% reduction on those cards unless you are just using DLAA and have headroom

Not necessarily. I use the G733 at home, and the G435 at work. They both sound fine for their price. Not amazing, but definitely not like garbage either. A family member has the G535 and they sound fine, too. That said, if you want quality audio, yes, you're either looking at a couple hundred for a headset or you'll want a separate mic.

Also, you can't compare luminosity 1:1 with oled since thanks to the better contrast less luminosity really feels more

And the aoc lowers it's peak brightness in dimmer settings

The LG C2 has like a 100% window of 150nits and it doesn't feel that much dimmer than the aoc in the same room for office use, our brain works with contrast not blasting luminosity in the eyes

And considering that current oled can go up to 350nits all window and that you kind of never have the whole window be a white square... Yeah it's not a problem I can assure you

But yeah don't switch, just saying that the difference is insane

I'll personally soon upgrade, for office use and gaming

I literally stopped gaming on this computer due to how insanely ugly everything looks VS my other setups

And even for office use it's bad

Mainly because 27" + 1440p is garbage for working

I was gonna say... 27" 1440p is the sweet spot for me. I'm not saying don't go 27" 4K - everyone's use case is different, but just because one person's use case prefers 27" 4K doesn't mean 27" 1440p is "garbage for working." As with everything, it depends on the exact work you do.
