YTou basically have to take control of the files through ownership in windows

trhe old local account is reporting a different "security key" that the new install is saying is aware of hence everything being locked down

You basically have to change permission and ownership

Yeah that is what you have to do basically

Windows is being paranoid and seeing the old stuff and going "WOAH WAIT A MINUTE I DON'T RECONIGE THIS" and thus locking everyuthing down you have to intervene and tell it that its all ok and that you are the owner of the files

Heres my windows version and yes my name is listed under it

Windows is saying its licensed to me which is correct since this is an upgrade from a Windows 10 install

and yes Microsoft has NOT pushed 25H2 onto this Ryzen 7 5800X3D yet which is a godsend honestly

Basically install WIndows 10 activate it then install 11 ontop of it

Also pretty sure a change in hardware will change the need to reactivate things

Hence needing to reactivate it now LOL

If theres a short in the stick aka crossed lines then that may cause a short in the slot

and depending on how bad of a short it may get as far back as the CPU/PSU

So its possible but highly unlikely unless you were storing the ram where it was getting wet constantly or soemthing
