1070 just went out of support, the last driver update was January.
I know another driver is out, but the app doesn't allow it to be dowloaded.
Will I be okay if I manually download and install the driver? Or am I just stuck until I can upgrade my PC? As it stands I don't think I can afford any minor upgrades and anything significant is effectively a brand new PC.

dlss does render at a lower res so less vram use but the upscaling model somewhere to store itself so that is vram, im not 100% sure about how much each model uses but i would imagine higher quality means it consumes a bit more than the last

the 3070 also lacks fp8 so there is a decent reduction in dlss 4 transformer performance and dlss 4.5
