@south arrow fixed my problem, yea windows kinda corrupted itself, the inplace repair accessed through the updates menu fixed it. took 2 tries, first one reverted midway and i was worried id have to go the inplace upgrade via media route, which is less convenient.

and as i assumed, it fixed my xbox app too

so many good new games to download

it was right borked, dism failure 62.3%, updates failing, xbox app having overflow errors, missing registries, etc etc. resetting services and all the known fixes didnt work. good thing that reinstall windows system files button exists, since i did absolutely nothing to have caused that. XD

Well the UI being exactly like you want is a huge benefit to me
