This is a problem with every brand of motherboard and many cases. I personally don't like Gigabyte for other reasons myself, but don't let the USB 3.0 header make you think Gigabyte is the only one with thie problem.

3 people across 2 continents with different gpus all having the same issues for the card's entire lifetime
