You can use the Macrium Reflect. Its a windows tool.

The new version is paid, but there is a legacy 7.X that is free.
You need to direct-attach the drive (SATA/PCIe), since it does raw block level, and most USB bridge block that.
That said, it does clone the entire disk. Including protected bitlocker, and even copies UUIDs.

Im not sure the original issue but if your ssd is being weird and the health is good once you do all the investigating you can. Reseating the drive with the pc off myte help and or updating bios (no garuntees just little things)

But indeed apparently they dont run that hot. We got dumped a bunch of 5970s. Absolute insanity of a dual GPU.

The thing pull like 250W. You would think, for a dual blower GPU, it will go to like 200 degrees in 2 seconds. Turns out it is able to stablize in the 80s, the second GPU being 2 degrees hotter.
It doesn't ramp the fan that aggressively, despite having a very powerful 12V 1.8A fan.
The exhaust does get comically hot, because all the heat is concentrated. It probably get hot enough for you to burn yourself on its PCIe bracket.

i do, the linux install they used, it used grub as the boot loader, and that takes over from windows boot loader, they then messed with how their linux partition was set up and from that did a cascade of a fuck up
