Ah gotcha. Hopefully whomever had it previously didn't damage it in a way that prevents it from plugging in all the way. Anywho, give yourself a little more room by removing this thumbscrew during install.

If it still won't go in, don't force it. You may need to remove the motherboard from the case to see if the GPU will slot into the board without the case interfering.

• If it won't go into the motherboard when it's outside the case ... you have bigger problems.
• If it will, you'll know the GPU has got to be pushing against something in the case.

It might be related to TPM and driver issues.

If you don't really want to spend time fixing this installation (which you can try to do using the windows installation disk), reinstallation is going to be the cleanest way.

If you're going to be doing any significant hardware changes, there is stuff you can do to prevent your windows from getting cooked. Windows uses stuff outside the SSD for a lot of security features. When all of that changes suddenly, it will have a hard time in booting.
