Hmm how to explain. Many chargers work best, or can only guarantee operation, above a certain power. This is usually because they have some minimum on-time to maintain transformer current or similar. Or they're just really inefficient outside that range.

So instead what they do is turn on and off very quickly, at a power level that is more efficient, so that the average power delivered is what you need

I would like some help with a major hardware upgrade decision. Currently, I’m considering purchasing an RTX 5080 for a significantly better 4K gaming experience. Something is likely causing a memory leak that's resulting in Windows increasing your page file to crazy sizes. You can try manually setting the page file size yourself.

with windows, though the issue is more rare nowadays it still happens when an update corrupts the OS to the point of you having to wipe the ssd and then reinstalling everything on it, and this is a no access to safemode moment of fubar by windows itself

if you're using steam it'll pick up what games you have already installed on a drive, you can also re-add drives back into steam for it to detect those games, a couple other main launchers for games clients also does similar to steam in this aspect
