I did a 35m ethernet cable run

Cause my router is downstairs on the far left side of the living room and my room upstairs on the far right side

I didn't drill any holes, I just got those cable tubes/covers and stuck em along the skirting board at the bottom

Only reason im doing it rn is because my current cable is ~35m long and runs along the walls

Its making my gaming performance drop like crazy

So im hoping this will fix it

trunking, and i'll be using a short lenth of that as well, in a couple places, it's just going to be irritating due to needing to pull up some floor boards for doing said runs

Ah yeah I understand, since it's along the skirting boards in those tubes/cable covers, 80% of it is well hidden, and for the other 20% where I couldn't do that, I just ran it under the carpet or under the bed type thing so it's hidden, either way the most important thing being that it's not a trip hazard

In my room, it has to like be exposed a little bit but I didn't want to go under the carpet, so I got these black velcro cable covers

Works perfect if you don't want to go underneath the carpet
