Hey guys need some help. I just built a pc and I installed windows, updated drivers did everything and it worked fine for a couple hours. I then restarted it a few times tryna go into safe mode to tweak something in the BiOS (for Valorant). And now the motherboard is showing a white and yellow LED (not recognising GPU and RAM). Except for the GPU everything else is brand new. And I can’t access BiOS either because my monitor keeps saying no signal.

There was no pop sound, pc was on a few seconds after the smoke was coming i took the plug out

Im currently running an i9-12900k and an RTX 3090, I plan on upgrading my monitor to a dual mode 4k@240/1080@480 and was wondering on an upgrade path. These are the options mind:

i9-12900k + 5080
R7 9800x3d + 5080
R7 9800x3d + 5090

In the UK, I can get a 5080 for around £1200 and a 5090 is around £3000 but take into mind I will be primarily gaming at 4k, what option would be ideal?

FWIW, ive played at 4k120 (new monitor is 160hz) on a 3090 or XTX (i have both) for years now, turns out that i dont play intensive enough games for upgrading to be worth it
