My laptop broke revently. I'm getting a new laptop. Is it possible for me to buy a laptop with lower end of specs and upgrade it with parts of my old laptop? Like ram , ssd , gpu processor idk.

or is it not recommended and i buy laptop with new parts for longetivity. And maybe use my old ssd as a hardrive and sell old rams.

I think the power delivery is hitting it's overload protection cause the heater in the monitor shuts off when you input video and it makes a high pitched noise

u can upgrade the ram and ssd in any laptop as far as i know but everything else nah so maybe consider getting a laptop with a good cpu and gpu and then low ram and low storage and just upgrade them

or you gotta find a suitable motherboard with good specs which is not really convient

Hello guys so currently I have 2 monitors both 1080p
The 2nd one is just a run of the mill cheapo 2nd display that I use for coding or YouTube

The main one is a very good (at that time atleast) 240hz LG ultragear with gsync and good colors and allat
Also 1080p, I bought it 3 years ago for about 300 bucks

This is a 1440p 100hz monitor for a 100 bucks

I don't game much nowadays other than minecraft claire 33 maybe hytale when it actually gets good
And the occasional friends game (repo peak etc etc)

I heard that ktc is an amazing budget brand. There's a 20% on it rn
Should I make the switch to 1440p or no?
Tbh when I go to college in a few months I'll most likely sell my pc so that's why I'm a bit hesitant
