Like when I checked the idle power draw (desktop but nothing open) it was below 15 watts consistently and around 10 watts from the wall. And this was in a mini PC which has no consideration for battery life. For that CPU and similar ones like the 7940hs. Amd laptops also do amazing on battery life testing and shine even brighter when light usage like web browsing over Intel

Quick tip, amds hx CPU are for workstations and heavy usage. You don't need them for gaming (unless it's a 3d c cache one) and don't want to use them in a normal laptop.

Basically for amd laptop CPU. U is low power or efficient. Hs is most amd laptop cpu anywhere from mid to upper end depends. Hx is many core very powerful CPU, also they tend to have very weak igpu.
