one major thing tho - instead of switching to eco mode you might want instead to give fans a ramp up/down delay, so the fan won't spin up instantly when there is a short burst of high load - only when temps increase for long time (like 3-4 seconds), then increase fan speed. That helped a lot to keep fan speeds more constant and not jump from no noise to 100% noise to noise in span of 1-2 seconds

I’m troubleshooting an issue with my PC that started suddenly after about a year of stable use. The system has a MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk MAX WiFi motherboard, a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, and a G.Skill Ripjaws 16GB 3200MHz kit with two sticks. The computer ran perfectly in dual channel for months, but one day it stopped posting normally and now it only boots with a single stick of RAM in slot A2, while the motherboard CPU debug LED stays on whenever I try to use two sticks. I tested both RAM sticks individually in A2 and they both work fine, so the RAM itself seems good. I also tested a single stick in B2 and the system posts there as well, which suggests both memory channels and slots can function individually. However, every dual-DIMM configuration fails to post. I tried A2+B2 which is the correct layout for this board and it does not post, and earlier it even showed a BIOS recovery message saying the BIOS was damaged. I also tried A1+B1 and that does not post either. I updated the BIOS to the latest non-beta version, cleared CMOS, disabled XMP, set memory speed to 2133 MHz, and disabled Memory Fast Boot to rule out training issues, but the problem persists. Since both sticks and both channels work individually but fail together, it seems most likely related to a CPU seating or socket contact issue affecting dual-channel initialization or possibly a motherboard signal problem. My next step is to reseat the CPU and inspect the AM4 pins for any slight misalignment or debris, since dual-channel memory requires more CPU pin contacts than single-channel, and if that doesn’t resolve it then the motherboard may be the culprit.
