Interesting, it's using VIDAA OS, so in theory... it doesn't natively support Android Apps or the Play Store, however, maybe it uses Google's Voice Assistant, so when you signed into the TV this is why you got the sign-in alert?

Nope - I'd need to have their BIOS in front of me to look. But they may not refer to it as "VMD" as I've only seen this on certain laptops. Instead, it might just be SATA (AHCI/RAID) configuration.

Alternatively, it may not be that they charge more because you're logged in, but that they charge less to "new" players or those who didn't play as many games.

To be clear, I support neither practice - the price of an item should be a set amount based on cost plus X% where X is regulated in some manner. Anything else is discrimination in my books.

So you need to experiment. -20, -30, -40, and so on, until you see the tearline disappear off the bottom of the screen.
