intel mac is literally on last macos version it ever will get, get the arm mac of any generation if you can. Intel only if you plan to use Linux with it

i mean i got the base spec 2019 16" MBP, it is not horrible, but again, last macOS, no future updates outside of 2 years of security updates, no official W11 compatibility (it doesn't expose TPM in T2 chip to anything else than macOS), thus not really good idea to run Windows 11 on it.

One X230 needs a new battery other needs a new plastic screen frame
