I don't know, from the tests I've seen and personally experienced, I love it. It does have a burn in period, you have to go through some heat cycles before it starts performing better, but there's even some data to show it gets better as it ages in a system. I fucking love it. I've replaced it on most devices I own that didn't already have it on it, including my 13900K

It really just depends on the application and what you value more. PTM is absolutely fantastic on direct die and I believe it is the best option. You could go liquid metal, but I refuse to touch that shit because there is a very real risk of destroying the device (even Linus's laptop go destroyed by manufacturer applied LM). On a regular CPU with an IHS the results are very comparable to thermal paste. So in that case it really just depends on what you prefer more. If you prefer longetivity and not having worry about it? PTM. If you prefer getting every last drop of potential performance out of the device and don't mind potentially having to repaste? Then thermal paste. The PTM testing is fucky. Some results show it doing better than thermal paste, some show it doing worse. One of the issues with PTM testing is the fact that it 100% does have a burn in period where it gets a bit better after going through heat cycles. Some claim it gets better over time in general too, but I can't specifically attest to that other than the initial burn in period.

freefilesync worked but I never paid attention that it might of skipped some files

for some odd reason windows wouldnt let me set up raid on those hdds

it wanted the hdds to have some sort of propriety that it didnt have
