Atten 862D is the minimum recommendation in the industry. There are cheaper stations but at the end of the day do not ever buy one with the fan in the handle

Fan in handle has 2 major problems:

1 - The fan is significantly less durable than a fan in station design

2 - The fan can't push nearly as much airflow as fan in station can

Doesn't mean it won't work, just means if you aren't already bought into it you shouldn't get it

When you have a small, temperature controlled iron, you want to first clean those connector pads then put a pillow of 153-183c solder on them using iron and flux.

As for BGA, practice on what you don't care about before doing it for real. It's not the easiest thing to just pick up

A 4070 can likely handle 1440p120 - I only have 60Hz displays, so I cap my framerate either at 90 FPS or 120 FPS depending on the game. Still, games like Apex Legumes can easily hit 120 FPS with my GPU.

If you're talking about MediaTek adapters on motherboards (usually AMD boards), yes. In my experience, they're all trash. (Or rather, the drivers for the adapters have exhibited all kinds of weird issues for people I've helped.)
